FAQ — Common questions
Questions, gently answered.
Most clients ask us a version of these — booking, timelines, frame sizing, and how to care for blooms before they reach the studio.
Still have a question? Write to us01Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. We reserve studio time for every preservation client so your blooms move through pressing, drying and framing without delay. Book through the service page and we’ll confirm your slot within one business day.
02How long does floral preservation and framing take?
Most pieces take 8 to 12 weeks from the day your flowers reach the studio. You’ll get an update when pressing begins, when layout is approved, and again when your framed piece ships.
03Which frame size should I order based on my flowers?
A small frame holds a few stems or a buttonhole; a medium fits a half bouquet; a large is sized for a full bridal bouquet. If you’re unsure, send a photo at booking — we’ll recommend the right fit before pressing.
04How soon do you need my blooms?
Within three days of your event, kept cool and out of direct sun. The fresher they arrive, the truer the color and shape we can preserve.
05Are there any blooms that cannot be pressed?
A handful — succulents, very waxy orchids, and some thick tropicals — don’t press well. We’ll flag anything tricky during your consultation and suggest an alternative finish.
06How do I take care of my blooms before shipping them?
Trim the stems, keep them in cool water, away from direct sun, and never in the fridge. We send a full care + packing guide the moment you book so nothing is left to guesswork.
07Can I send extra flowers if I have them?
Please do — extra blooms give us more to work with and almost always make for a richer composition. There’s no charge for extras unless you’d like them in a separate keepsake.
08Can I place an order for someone else?
Of course. Many of our pieces are gifted. Add the recipient’s details at booking and we’ll either coordinate the consultation with them directly or relay everything through you.
09Do you work with international orders?
Yes, we ship preserved pieces worldwide. International shipping and customs are quoted separately during booking so there are no surprises at the door.
